Sampai dimana level iman saya?

Sampai dimana level iman saya?

Astaghfirullahal'adzim..

Semoga bermanfaat.

Allahu a'lam bishowwaab.

Al-ummu madrasatul ula

“Al-ummu madrasatul ula, idza a’dadtaha a’dadta sya’ban thayyibal aaraq"
What crosses your mind when you read the quote above?
To me, those statement above, has stated very clearly of women's role in islam.
Dear sisters, I was once thought that with the knowledge that my parents have invested for me since I was little, I need to be a career woman.
"ya iyalah, nyokap bokap gue udah sekolahin gue tinggi-tinggi masa abis nikah cuman di rumah aja ngurusin anak sama suami, rugi dong.."
It was my point of view before I wore my hijab, around 1.5 years ago.
Sad fact, but I am happy and really, I didn't wish I was perfect. Perfectness will not make me learn, and thirst to seek for the beautiful knowledge of Allah. Alhamdulillaah ala kulli haal.
As the time goes by, I realise, the life is never be long, and no matter how successful a woman / man is, when she/he dies, here is the hadith that will remind us about the greatness to raise shalih/shalihah children.
Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam bersabda : “Jika mati seorang manusia, maka putuslah amalnya kecuali 3 perkara :
  1. Shadaqah Jariyah
  2. Ilmu yang bermanfaat
  3. Anak sholeh yang mendoakan kedua orang tuanya”.

May Allah make us easy to complete half of our deen for those who haven't, and become parents who raise shalih/shalihah children for the love of Allah.

BarakAllahu feekum!

Love you for the sake of Allah,

Gerakan Indonesia Menulis Al-Qur'an (ImanQu)

There is opportunity for any of you who wants to take a part in ImanQu (Indonesia menulis Quran).

Bahasa keren anak jaman sekarang "SOP hidup lo, bro, sis!".

Acara ini Free entry! 28 February 2014 @ Istora Senayan ~ Islamic Book Fair. Peserta diharapkan berkumpul setelah solat Jumat (pukul 13.00).

Let me know if you're interested or further question by simply mention me on @LPutri or comment on this post.

"This is the book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear اَللهُ. " (QS 2:2)

BarakAllah!

He know the unknown

I'm so touched...

Suddenly a good friend of mine who is a non muslim, deliberately contacted me thru my Facebook.

He says: "I'm really proud to know that u are getting really mature especially to the faith you have to your God (imaan)"

The moment I finished reading his message. I took a deep breath. Tried holding my tears.

Never expected someone like him would pay so much attention in that kind of thing.

I feel tremendously thankful
For all the hidayah from اَللهُ.
Which clearly the Quran says, اَللهُ really choose the servants who will be granted with hidayah. (QS 18:17)

I would say this hijrah journey never be so easy. But اَللهُ have made everything so easy.

So whoever and wherever you are who have been thinking of getting closer to اَللهُ and keep postponing it. Keep on moving. Make dua always. Don't stop my brothers and sisters. Please. This time, do listen to the inner voice of u, that maybe, you have neglected for so long.

He never sleep as u know. Be thankful that u have the intention to get closer to Him. The journey in front of you might seem difficult by logic.
But I remind myself too at the moment; that loving Allaah the entirely Merciful, with imaan is easy and really is beyond the logic. He make the impossible become possible.

Difficulties and easiness are all judged by us humans. But to Allaah, nothing is difficult really. :)

I am more than happy to be your partner in this journey. For the ultimate goal : to get the ridho of Allaah.

May His love and guidance are always accompanying your step. :)

Wassalamu'aleykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Love,

Kesederhanaan Cinta

Cinta itu selalu bersama
Cinta itu berbicara
Cinta itu sedikit memaksa
Cinta itu tak terpisahkan
Cinta itu dilarang cemburu
Cinta itu mengenal
Cinta itu paham

Cinta itu ...

Sampai dimana pemahaman kamu tentang sebuah kata bernama : cinta.

"Gara-gara cinta...gue jadi..."

Karena cinta pulalah rangkaian kata inipun tersusun menjadi sebuah cerita.
Untuk sebuah visi,
Mengalir dengan keyakinan & kerendahan hati

Saat ini..

Cinta itu akan ada waktunya bersama
Cinta itu diam dalam do'a
Cinta itu berserah dan melangkah
Cinta itu akan bertemu dan dipisahkan
Cinta itu cemburu
Cinta itu tak mengenal
Cinta itu tanpa paham

Saya menyebutnya transisi cinta.

Mungkin kamu ingat.

Betapa indahnya memiliki rasa percaya.

Bukan selalu, bukan pula terkadang, ataupun jarang.

Cinta itu diam dalam do'a.
Tak perlu banyak memberi puja, apalagi ungkapan mesra.
Cukup, sebaik-baik kata adalah diam pada manusia.
Dan berkata dalam do'a.

Bukan mencari ridho manusia. Tetapi mencari ridho Allah.
Memantaskan diri tak cukup hanya sehari.
Terkadang perlu berhari-hari.

Siapa sangka.
Engkau ternyata dicipta untukku.
Mungkin arti kita bertemu.
Untuk mengenal makna syukur & 'tawadhu'.
Di dunia, semua bersifat semu.
Maka terus dekati dan kenali Rabbmu.

Berlogika seringnya penuh fikir.
Tapi tidak begitu dengan takdir
.
Lagi-lagi kenali Rabbmu, cintai syariat.
Cinta itu sederhana jika engkau taat.

Memahami kamu, juga aku
Awali dengan do'a selalu..

Muhasabahku

I know this theory really well :

Sudah bermanfaatkah langkah kaki ini setiap harinya?

little things make a big difference

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

May peace be upon you all…

I currently finished reading an interesting book

Little things make a big difference by Laurin Sydney

This book does really ring a bell to me.
On how, I sometimes forget and often, underestimate the power of little, simple things in life.

One page of the book that I found I really like it a lot is about:

Complimentary Compliments (from page 18)

“…The power of a genuine compliment is immense. I know that your mom taught you to find the good in everything…. so when you do find it, speak up! It’s free, and the impact can be miraculous.”

I remember, few days ago, a stranger gave me compliment inside the elevator.

She says: “you look so beautiful with your hijab, I think hijab suits you a lot”

And I was so surprised listening to her, knowing that she starred at me since the first second I walked into the elevator.

So thanked her before she got off at the basement.

Those seconds of moment really did change my energy.

Laurin said “miraculous”…maybe that describes the word.

According to some Indonesian friends I have, here in Indonesia, we weren’t really educated to compliment people, unlike the western culture.

But hey, since you have read my writing, wouldn’t you practice a new, inspiring habit which impact can be miraculous to others?

I would… ☺

Wassalamu’alaikum,

travel to learn | learn to travel

Key learnings of the day :

1. Be open to new ideas.
Listen thoroughly then make comments. Not the other way around.

2. Love doesn't ask why, baby.
If someone gives you love, accept it be grateful. You don't need to question everything in this life.

3. Parents love their children and more likely will do anything----a n y t h i n g---- to make them happy. why so difficult to please them by simply listening instead of being so self centered and act "I'll only do things that I like".

❤let's make the earth happier, by throwing the litter into the bin :)

blessings in disguise

Just like these cactuses, 3 different shapes and they are there next to each other.

In real life, Allah could give many "shapes" of bad or unfavorable times in the journey of meeting the right one -- but when you put the whole trust on Him, it's never be too hard for Him to let you meet your other half with the unimaginable "shapes" and be next to each other till the destined time. Or we might know it as..."forever".

a sexy analyzer

here are my thoughts.

I think I better share them with you, since it might be valuable. Better than I sleep on them and they get lost in my dream.

So this early morning, I decided to be an analyzer. A sexy analyzer that is. 😍 :p

Some questions that I keep on asking to myself, and might be good if you ask this to yourself too..
Perhaps 😎

1. Why do I want to get married ?

2. Why do I decide to do ta'aruf instead of being in a common relationship ?

3. Why is getting married becoming important to me right now?

4. When I said I wanna get married, have I already had the right beings? Especially to my Creator and my parents..
*rings a bell? Yes! Correct it is the Be-Do-Have magic formula*

5. When I decided to do ta'aruf let say..do I know the consequences? Do I really have a clear intention in doing this? Or do I just do it---for fun?

6. When I'm not ready to leave the common relationship and choose taaruf instead, do I know what am I trying to contribute to other people?

7. When I said I'm confuse with what to decide, do I realize what sort of game I'm playing at that time and again does it has something to do with other people?

Ok now really is time to sleep.
And for those of you who are doing a beautiful process called taaruf.
Be 100% on the journey!

Don't take a golden chance for granted. Cause next ones might only be silver or bronze? Who knows..

Alhamdulillah thank you Allah..

Because of You, I put aside my ego and decided to be committed as well as forgiving at the same time.

ps. wake me up for qiyamul lail, would ya ❤

an extraordinaire kind of love.

my 2 cents.

It's very easy to find a guy who's in love with a girl and become so deeply in love that although he isn't a superman, he would do anything to impress that girl.

However...

I wouldn't say it ain't easy to find a guy who's in love with a girl, and he's even much more in love with his Creator.
*I call him Allah. You can call it God, or you name it.*

And I personally would be impressed by this kind of guy.

I didn't say this kind of guy didn't exist anymore, it's just that, they are not many.

this is my morning dua, for myself and for the ladies out there who read my writing.

May Allah grants us a guy, an imam who loves Allah more than us, and eventually he loves us because of Allah.

Amin Ya Rahmaan.

I am surrounded by such a huge love in my life, and I know it's because of You, Ya Fattaah.

I am home again!

It feels like I haven't written on this blog for ages..

I did tweet regularly, however, stop writing on my own free space a.k.a blog really is something I miss the most.

Thank to one of my P.I.C Septia Redisa, who writes her blog more constantly than I do your writings have successfully given me those silent-kickin' effect into myself and I really did move my lazy butt to finally sit still and do 'stop-feel-write'.

greeeeat to be "home" again. : )

What it means is simply to be able to move my lazy B and to write again, together with my mind, my soul *try to hold myself not to dance* and expressing what I want to express freelyyyyy without worrying to be judged, liked or hated.

Hello you! hope this new post of mine finds you well.

A great health, wealth, happiness and surely love for each and everyone of you who finds this post.

A long yet meaningful day

3 minutes after the 2nd of May 2011.

Then I decided to write.

I met this man accidentally (I think he's in his 40's) we had a quick yet hard-to-forget conversation.

Before I said "till I meet you again, Sir" he said this to me..

"make sure you continue your meditation, be focused and do pray to Him at nights"

Golly! It's pretty creepy to me.

Where did he get those ideas?

Only him and God know, I suppose.

But thank you, Sir.
That was a short, clear yet very momentous statement you gave me.

Be grateful, and..
Put love in everything you do!

Esensi dibalik kekurangan lidah buaya

This morning. In the kitchen.

“Mah, lidah buaya itu baunya kaya' ketek banget ya! Yuck..” keluh saya sambil membuka plastik putih berisikan lidah buaya yang baru keluar dari kulkas.

“Tapi ya Mah, nggak peduli sebau apapun si lidah buaya, manfaatnya bagus buat rambut dan kulit, yah..bau ketek nggak papa deh, rela..” kata saya.

“Yah tahanin aja lah cuma bau ketek, kan nggak lama-lama juga kamu jadiin masker rambut dan muka, nggak sampe seharian kan..” kata mama.

Dari situ saya berfikir..

Lidah buaya.
Bau ketek.
Bauuuu banget.
Teksturnya seperti (excuse me) ingus.
Yuck..

Tapi manfaatnya luar biasa!
Kebayang kan se-intense apa hubungan saya sama bau keteknya..
Tapi Alhamdulillah, hasilnya positif banget.

Dasar saya!Mau tetep cantik, tapi juga nggak mau kantong saya “bolong”.

Kalau lidah buaya itu perumpamaan untuk seseorang. Say..seorang pria.

Apa cara pandang saya akan tetap sama?

Yah nggak usahlah bau ketek.
Please please please not that one... No offense, tapi saya paling nggak tahan duduk sama orang yang bau ketek.

With or without friends.

*eew-yay!*

So, when there’s a OMG!-no-way guy mulai mengajak berteman dekat, bukan waktunya lagi melihat dia sebagai sosok OMG!-no-way guy I suppose.. : )

Let’s spread the love, people!

Dudes, open your eyes!

Sometimes, what women want is your presence. Neither diamonds nor money..

If you like to cook, cook for her. That worth more than those classy restos or bistros.

Dudes, open your eyes!

Don't forget to appreciate others.
Say "thank you" or "sorry" *this you have to mean it* when needed..

The fact has torn my heart

I consider myself lucky.

The fact has torn my heart.

Kebanyakan orang tua mereka mendapatkan "uang antar" dari setiap anak gadis yang diantar bekerja disana. Sekitar 8 - 10 juta rupiah. Lalu?

Setelah "melayani" customernya, mereka sering bercerita sambil menangis.

To be honest, I don't know what to do for them right now. Pengen banget menolong, tapi belum mampu.

One day, I believe I can and will help..

Have a perfect day!
Please do help other people wherever and whenever you can..

Are you the right person?

It's a bloody Valentine's Day!

The very first time I'm writing this blog again since I landed in this very city.

Good to be home of course. Although I can't deny that I'll miss living abroad again for so many times.

I read an article on a magazine about 'meeting a right person but not in a right time'. It does suck.

But then again, I'll never be a thankful human being if 'complaining' is the only thing I am good at.

What I could and would do for now is just live life as it is. And embracing love as people said "good things come to those who wait".
I'll wait..for things, for someone to come to me in the right time. A right person in the right time. That's rhyme! beautifully.

Have a perfect (valentine's)day!
May you'll be with the love of your life soon and always.♡

Experiencing IMAX!

Sunday, July 4th 2010 at 10:00AM : Shrek The Final Chapter.

I was hesitating at first. Should I or should I not watch Shrek 4 in IMAX, since I am having a love-hate relationship with 3D cinemas.

Most of the times I experienced dizziness after the movie session. I remember last time I watched Avatar, which you might all know, the movie was quite long, I had a terrible headache after the movie. It was not caused by the story line, graphics etc. It because I chose to watch it in a 3D cinema not the standard one.

I am actually curious about IMAX, as I have been listening to people's comments about the upsides and downsides of it.

My decision to give it a go was perfectly right! I love the 3D there! HUGE screen, better quality 3D!
It is way better than the local cinemas where I normally go.
Although they have these new cinemas with 3D, but still, it is not the same. Even the atmosphere is different.

Thanks SS! it was such a lovely company for the earliest movie session I have ever had. ☺☺

Looking forward to watching the next movie(s) in IMAX!

Is that what a girl really wants?

Mellow Hellow!
3:21AM AEST.
But all I could think of is writing.

My best friend shared me her story about a guy who is currently dating another girl. To cut it short, my best friend is so into him. She told him how she feels about him. And the idea of telling him did not turn out to be a great one.

What else could make a good night turns out into a bad night. Except, realising that the person you love does not love you back, or, the person you love has changed into someone you do not want him to be, in this case.

It hurts of course.

I told her to sleep on it, do not think about anything for tonight. Full stop. But bestie, by the time you read this post, you should be smiling widely, knowing the reason behind my command.

The more I heard about someone else's stories, problems, etc. The more I am aware of how stubborn I am, how selfish I am.

Up until this moment of time, I am still expecting someone to be the same person as he was 6 years ago, which is impossible.
I always think, although we cant be together anymore, but, at least what I feel for him has not changed at all, therefore I am hoping him to be at the same stage as I am. But HELLOOOO!! Everybody is changing. And without him telling me, I could smell he is into someone else at the moment. That might be the reason why he has changed orrr, maybe because I told him that I am seeing someone at the moment.

D'OH.

See, how selfishly idiot I am. Deep down in my heart, I am still hoping, thing will go back to where it was 6 years ago.
But, having listened to my bestie's story, made me realised that, I really should stop expecting the impossible thing to happen. Coz, If I dont, I would not be any smarter than a donkey could be. - -"

Just concentrate with my current life. Wish him a happy life. Those are actually better to do.

You, if you read this, I just want you to know that, yes, I am jealous knowing that you are currently with / close with someone else. However, my jealousy would not go any longer than the time you spent to read my post (hopefully) :p

I am wishing you the best. For everything.

As for the girl, whoever she is. Please note, this guy is one of a kind. Do not take him for granted. Really should tell you that you are a lucky one. Must be a special girl chosen by a special guy.

Lastly. I miss talking to you.
I remember I told you about this although you were too hesitate to say anything. You said you were afraid. That is perfectly understandable to me. Actually, I was lying to you that day. I miss everything about you.

Something that is unspoken and will remain unspoken for a while.
Till I see you again.
